1. Non-Membership Organization
1.1 Important Distinction
Buildup Cooperative (dba U.S. Workers Alliance) is NOT a membership organization. Our platforms are open to all workers who support our mission. Using our platforms does not make you a member or affiliate of the organization.
1.2 Advocacy vs. Representation
While any individual may advocate for our mission and support our cause, no individual may represent themselves as part of, acting on behalf of, or authorized to represent U.S. Workers Alliance unless specifically designated in writing by Buildup Cooperative.

Account Information:

- Optional: Worker status (current/former, union/non-union)

- Anonymous registration means your identity is not visible to other users or the public

- Pages viewed, time spent on the Platform, click patterns

- When you choose anonymous registration for certain activities, your identity is not visible to other users
- Public-facing reports and statistics will be aggregated and anonymized
- Petition signers’ names will not be made public without explicit consent
No Voluntary Disclosure to Employers:
- We will not voluntarily disclose your identity or activity on our platforms to your employer
- We will not provide user lists, contact information, or activity logs to employers
- The only exception is when required by law or court order
User Control:
- You can choose what information to share publicly on your profile
- You can opt out of certain data collection and sharing practices
- You can delete your account and associated data
Transparency:
- If we receive a legal request for your information, we will notify you in advance unless prohibited by law
- We will challenge overly broad or vague requests when appropriate

- Anonymous Registration vs. Complete Anonymity: When you choose anonymous registration, your identity is not visible to other users, but we still collect information for operational purposes
- Employer Surveillance: We cannot prevent your employer from monitoring your Internet usage, especially on work devices
